A Family Affair

The Obamas’ spent some quality time together over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The Obamas’ volunteered on Wednesday at Martha’s Table, a local D.C. non-profit for underserved individuals.

On Friday afternoon, First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters, Malia and Sasha Obama, welcomed the official Christmas tree to the White House.

And on Saturday afternoon, the entire family watched as Oregon State took on Howard University in basketball. First Lady Michelle Obama’s brother is the head coach of Oregon State’s team.

All in all, it looks like the Obamas’ had a great weekend, not including President Obama having to get stiches in his lower lip. Ouch. Happy Thanksgiving!

California's New Attorney General



According to the LA Times, Steve Cooley has conceded to Kamala Harris for California Attorney General. After more than three weeks of tallying votes in the state, Harris pulled ahead beating Cooley by about 50,000 votes to become California's top lawyer.

Harris will be the first woman African America attorney general in California and the first Indian-American attorney general in the United States. She is definitely a political girl in my book!

Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice.....

I love these two women.

Obamas arrive in Mumbai....

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama arrived in India today as part of 10 day international trip for the President in hopes of cultivating relationships and building new economic ties.
