Desiree Rogers hosted a launch party yesterday for Kate Betts, who released her highly anticipated book, "Everyday Icon: Michelle Obama and the Power of Style" at Milk Studio in New York City. Looks like fun times.
Former Harpar's Bazaar editor and current Time contributer Kate Betts will release, "Everyday Icon: Michelle Obama and the Power of Style" next week. This is the latest book about the Michelle Obama's fashion and style, with others like Robin Givan's "Michelle: Her First Year as First Lady" and Mary Tomer's Mrs. O: The Face of Fashion Democracy released last year.
Betts's latest feat will include over 200 color photos and will seek to understand the meaning, if any, of the first lady's fashion. Everyday Icon: Michelle Obama and the Power of Style”, published by Clarkson Potter, will go on sale on Feb.8.
