The 2nd annual Diller-von Fursenberg Awards were this weekend at the United Nations in New York City. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was among the honorees, who was presented the award by her daughter, Chelsea. Another honorees include Elizabeth Smart, an advocate of child abduction and recovery programs and legislation, Taryn Davis of the American Widow Project, Sohini Chakraborty of Kolkata Sanved, and Kakenya Ntaiya of the Kakenya Center for Excellence. Other notable presenters and attendees include host and designer Diane von Furstenberg, Daily Beast and Newsweek editor-in-chief Tina Brown , ABC News' Anchor Diane Sawyer, and model Iman.
The Diller-von Fursenberg Awards are bestowed upon five women who have demonstrated leadership, strength, and courage in their respective fields.
