Michelle Obama and Jill Biden 'Join Forces' with Martha Stewart and Jessica Simpson to help military families

Michelle Obama and Jill Biden began their trip around the country yesterday to talk about their new initiative, "Joining Forces' spotlighting America's military families.

First lady Michelle Obama and Second lady Jill Biden are officially on a road trip. The ladies' first stop was to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, where they hosted a Operation Shower, a party for pregnant women who husbands are overseas. They were also joined at the shower by Martha Stewart. 

After leaving North Carolina, the duo traveled to Denver to participate in an event with singer Jessica Simpson. The ladies were joined at the Coors baseball field by military families for a night of sports activities.
