Sens. Dianne Feinstien and Kirsten Gillibrand sponsor bill repealing DOMA

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), along with 15 other Democrats  announced the introduction of a Senate bill to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act yesterday on Capitol Hill.

Barbara Bush, daughter of former president George W. Bush is appearing in a video today stating that she supports same-sex marriage. Despite her famous father believing that such unions should not be legalized, Barbara Bush is urging other New Yorkers to support marriage equality.
