Nancy Pelosi visits the "Gayle King Show"

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was interviewed by Gayle King for her radio show, "Gayle King Show" last week. Famous for being the Oprah's best friend, Ms. King has been broadcasting her radio show on the newly formed OWN network. In the wide-ranging interview, the two women discussed everything from jobs to health care to all the unrest in Egypt.

Oprah Winfrey hosted a Cocktail Party this past week for the 2011 Television Critic Winter Press Tour. Other mediagirls were in attendance to celebrate their own shows on OWN including Oprah's BFF, Gayle King, journalist Lisa Lang, and financial expert Suze Orman.

Brian Stelter of the New York Times interviewed Oprah Winfrey ahead of her OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) channel debut on January 1. In the candid interview, she spoke about the many expectations and doubts many have about her new venture.

“I’m prepared for all the critics, I’m prepared for all the naysayers and the ya-da-ya’s. The real truth is this: Everything I’ve ever done has prepared me for this moment, for this launch," stated Oprah.
