Just came across this great feature on Washingtonian's website. The article entitled, "Washington's 100 Most Powerful Women, is similar to Forbes's noted list of female news makers but focuses solely on women in Washington's DC. Some of the women who stood out for me were:
- Michèle Flournoy, who is the Undersecretary of Defense for policy and could be the first woman head of the Defense Department.
- Marne Levine, is the vice president for global public policy at Facebook and was served as the chief of staff at the National Economic Council at the White House.
- Marcia Greenberger, is the founder and co-president, National Women’s Law Center. One of the godmothers of the women’s movement, she’s still a powerful advocate for employment rights.
