On last Wednesday, Second Lady Jill Biden invited a group of elementary school students to the Naval Observatory, the official house of the Vice President, to make holiday cards for troops and their families. Dr. Biden participated in the project as part of Holiday Mail for Heroes, a program that helps the public send cards to service members, veterans and their families during the holiday season. The children also had a chance to help Dr. Biden decorate ornaments and cookies.
